Charles H. Craft Sr., 58, of Benton Township, died Wednesday at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, following a long illness. His body has been cremated. There will be no funeral. Friends may call at the family home after 3 p.m. Sunday. Arrangements are by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service, Benton Harbor.

Mr. Craft was born Jan. 15, 1928, in Benton Harbor. He retired in 1976 as head of maintenance at Lake Michigan Catholic School. Survivors include: his wife, Caroline; four daughters Constance Craft and Pamela Craft, both of Benton Harbor, Penny Norman of St. Joseph and Mrs. Ronnie (Patricia) Yaw of Hainesville, Ga.; one son, Charles Jr. of Little Elm, Texas; three sisters June Weaver of Benton Harbor, Margaret Adams of Sister Lakes and Mary Ann Lee of Birmingham, Ala.; three brothers Robert Craft of Georgia, Edward Craft of St. Joseph and John Harner of Benton Harbor; and eight grandchildren.
