Trooper A Baldwin, Rhodesia Regiment. Wounded in action near Mafeking on 31 Mar 1900 and taken prisoner by Boer forces. He died of wounds in Waterval POW Camp in Pretoria. He was probably initially buried at Waterval North. His remains were later reinterred at Petronella Military Cemetery, about 25km North of Pretoria. He is also commemorated on the Boer War memorial in Burgershoop Cemetery, Krugersdorp, West Rand District Municipality, Gauteng, South Africa (see Find a Grave memorial 238633216).
