William E. Blodgett, 68, of Manteca died Sunday in a Martinez hospital. Born in Manteca, Mr. Blodgett retired after 17 years as a sales representative for a fishing tackle company. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 730 of Sacramento. He graduated from Manteca High School in 1940 and attended Modesto Junior College. Survivors include his wife, Mary C. Blodgett of Manteca; two sons, William D. Blodgett of Concord and John C. Blodgett of Napa; his mother, Agnes M. Blodgett of Manteca; a brother, Charles M. Blodgett of Descanso; and two grandchildren.
