Mr. Williams was born in Booneville, Miss. He moved to Amarillo in 1978. He had worked for the City of Amarillo and Southwest Prestressed Concrete until his retirement.
Survivors include two sons, J.L. Williams and Eddie Williams, both of Arkansas; a sister, Thelma Beeler of Strawberry, Ark.; a brother, Marvin Owens of Booneville; four nieces, Ethel Braddock, Barbara Helton, Kristi Anderson and Judy Spain; and two nephews, Max Braddock and Jerry Braddock.
