Private family services will be held at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mrs. Braddock married Charles E. Braddock in Alcorn, Miss., on Dec. 21, 1946. She moved from Mississippi to Amarillo in 1956. She worked for the Amarillo Independent School District for 14 years.
She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983; and a son, Charles A. Braddock, in 1998.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Helton and husband, Bob, Ethel Braddock, Judy Spain and Kristie Anderson and husband, Ben, all of Amarillo; two sons, Max Braddock and Jerry Braddock and wife, Charlotte, all of Amarillo; a sister, Thelma Beeler of Strawberry, Ark.; two brothers, Marvin Owens of Boonesville, Miss., and James Williams of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, in care of Olivia's Angels, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
