Son of George Washington "Charles" and Mary (Dildine) Hutchings.
Daniel, had gone to Commerce, Hunt Co., TX, to secure land. After this was accomplished he returned to TN, for his wife, Margaret Arnavia and their eleven children. While in TN, he caught a fever and died. His body was carried by wagon across the mountain from Buffalo Valley to Fancher's Mill Cemetery (his father's land at that time). Time and the elements have worn away several inscriptions on the old tomb stones in this family grave yard; Daniel, is buried in one of these graves.
