Mrs. Iacono was born in Isola d'Ischia, Naples, Italy. She and her husband came to this country in June 1921. For 20 years they owned and operated the Broomall Cafe, 109 Broomall Street Chester.
After retiring and until her time of death, she assisted her sons in the operation of the Broomall Cafe in Holmes.
She was a member of St. Gabriel's Society at St. Anthony's Church, Chester.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Philomena Gorga and Mrs. Lucy Duda, both of Woodlyn. Sons, James of Morton and John of Ridley Park. Sisters, Mrs. Almena Mattero of Milmont Park, Mrs. Marcia Mattero and Mrs. Agnes DiCostanza both of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Brother, Joseph Iacono of Naples, Italy, and five grandchildren.
