Military Figure, Politician. In 1865 he joined the revolutionaries of the Laguna region who fought against the French. He carried out difficult assignments in the service of the cause of Benito Juárez. In 1867 he appeared alongside General Mariano Escobedo, witnessed the fall of Querétaro and the execution of Maximiliano on the Cerro de Las Campanas. In 1871 he joined the forces that supported the Plan of La Noria and later the Plan of Tuxtepec together with Generals Gerónimo Treviño and Francisco Naranjo. He was political chief of the district of Viesca in 1876 and military leader of La Laguna. He was the first municipal president of Torreón, popularly elected in 1894. He built the first bullring beginning its construction in 1901 and was inaugurated on January 20, 1902 and the Salvador and San Carlos hotels, the latter disappeared.
