Donna Sue Gossett Davis, 55 years 1 month and 8 days of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, lost her battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021.
Donna was born on May 1st, 1966, daughter of the Margaret West Gossett and late Donald Edwin "Don" Gossett. Donna was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church and had worked for twenty-eight years as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Donna was a compassionate and caring person and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Donna was survived by her loving husband of thirty-two years, Mark Davis; one son, Gabriel Allen Davis of Somerset, Kentucky; her mother, Margaret Gossett; two brothers, Eddie (and Kim) West of Somerset, Kentucky and David (and Debbie) Gossett of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Edwin "Don" Gossett, who departed this life on December 1st, 2014; and one brother, Lucas Ray "Luke" Gossett, who departed this life on February 23rd, 2016.
Visitations were held after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 11th, 2021 at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12th, 2021 in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Caleb Wilson and Bro. Sam Crawford officiating.
2nd Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith."
Burial followed in the Southern Oaks Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky.
