The death occurred of Eileen Little (nee Schell), 82, peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on December 14, 2005. Born at Haliburton on September 15, 1924, the daughter of Charles and Sarah (nee Sisson) Schell. She married Wallace Little on February 5, 1941. Pioneers in the logging industry, first at Kennisis Lake for Hay and Co., then to Huntsville in 1960, first for Hay and Co. then Weldwood of Canada. Eileen worked for years as cook in the logging camps, then was a full-time mother for her seven children. She kept the family involved in the community with hockey, figure skating and as members of All Saints' Anglican Church. Eileen's house was a welcome haven for Christmas, Easter, family birthdays or just family and friends sing-alongs. She has mothered a large family who will try hard to carry on her beloved family traditions. Wife of the late Wallace. Dear mother of Conway and his wife Fran, Linda and her husband Eric Smith, Leon and his wife Silvana, Lockey and his wife Marlene, Donna Lee and her husband Reg Gil, Peter and his wife Tammy, Susan and her husband Kevin Billingsley. Loving 'Gramma' of Traci and Sean, Kerry and Sandra, Kasey and Mary Anne, Kory and Tasha, Vanessa and Roger, Warren, Mandy, Marcy and Bill, Calvin and Tina, Tanya and Andrew, Jennie, Abby, Erica, Kyle and Nicole. Great-gramma of Kris, Kelsey, Brooke, Kole, Lukas, Keaton, Brooke, Emily, Paige, Cole, Tyler, Meghan, Celine, Taylor, Amber Sky, Kade, Nicholas and Tyrone. Dear sister of Grenville, Les and Ruth, Verlie and Tom Randall, Bill and Marlene, Dick and Carole Anne. Cherished Aunt Neen to many. Predeceased by brother Mark, sisters Denise and Ann. Funeral service was held at the Billingsley Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 20, 2005 at 5 p.m., with Reverend Dawn Henderson and Pastor Darrell Baker officiating. A eulogy was given by her oldest grandchild, Traci McIlroy. Pallbearers were grandchildren Kerry Little, Kasey Smith, Warren Little, Mandy Earl, Calvin Jenkins and Nicole Billingsley. Spring Interment All Saints Anglican Cemetery. "God's greatest gift returned, our Mother."
