OKLAHOMA CITY
On Sunday, June 13, 2021, David Eugene Cory passed away after an extended illness. He was born to Eugene and Maxine (Jung) Cory on March 23, 1941 in El Reno, OK. David grew up in Edmond and lived his adult life in Oklahoma City. He was among the first to be hired by General Electric in 1963. After many changes in the computer industry and many changes in company ownership, he was one of the last to leave Seagate Technologies in 2001.

He is survived by his wife, Joy; sons, Brent and wife Mina of OKC, and Clay and Wife Oka of Broken Arrow; and his grandchildren, Lara and Miles of Broken Arrow, and Katy and Ryan of OKC. Also surviving are his brother, Curtis and wife Melissa of Edmond; and sister, Cheryl Cory of Wautauga, TX.

A graveside service will be Thursday, June 17, 10:00am at Spring Creek Cemetery.
