In 1896 H. P. Hansen married Mary Madsen and he farmed along Ash Creek. It is possible that this was their child but I can find no proof.
This gravesite was located as a shallow depression in the ground and is marked by a plain unlettered concrete block that was buried by grass and had to be dug out. The metal rod was only used for locating the stone and was not left at the gravesite.
