Funeral Services for Mrs. Lelia Hicks Long, 94, an Arizona resident
since 1884, who died Friday at Gila General Hospital, were held
Monday at Walker's Globe Mortuary. Burial was in Globe Cemetery.
Mrs. Long of 704 E. Sycamore came to Globe-Miami area a year
after moving to Arizona. /Born in Tennessee, she was a 1903 graduate
of the Tempe Normal School (Arizona State University). She was a
member of the order of Eastern Star in Globe.
Survivors include four grandsons, Robert G. of Globe, Thomas J.
of Los Angeles, California, Paul C. of Phoenix and William H.
of Tucson. Granddaughter, Sandra R. Long of Phoenix.
