Louie Gomez, 32, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 15, 2007. He was born in El Paso on January 8, 1975. He was a lifelong resident and a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Bowie High School. He was very athletic and enjoyed parties and get-togethers. He will be missed by all of his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and all his customers from Nachitas. He will be dearly missed. He enjoyed the good things in life. He was a hard worker a good provider & good son a wonderful brother a good friend to everyone and most of all a dad that would buy the world for his kids. Ashley (14), Louie Jr. (8) & Justin (6). He is survived by his father Alfredo Gomez, mother Maria Gomez, brothers: Juan Jose (JJ) Gomez, Alfredo Jr., Antonio, Arturo & Abel Gomez; sisters: Aracely Gomez, Linda Castro, Alicia Gomez & Amelia Gomez; wife: Angie Gomez. Visitation was from 4-9 pm Friday, November 16, 2007 with a vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Drive. Funeral Mass will be at 8:30 am Saturday, November 17, 2007 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church located at 408 S. Park. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
