She was BORN 7/2/1899 in Tanglewood to M/M. Robert & Lena Chaddock Duncum. Married John Franklin Rose on 12/28/1914 in Tanglewood. Mrs. Rose was raised in and attended the Christian Church. She was formerly director of the New Salem 4-H Club. Husband preceded her in death on 3/12/1960.

SURVIVORS: 4 sons, Arthur Eugene Rose of Coldsprings, Willie Perry Rose of San Antonio, John B. Rose of Houston and Commander Charles J. Rose USN (Ret.) of Sterling, VA.; half-brother, Arnett Douthett Duncum of Austin; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
