Rasmussen, a native of Goldfield, Iowa, died Sunday in his Lincoln home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Clark-Lincoln Funeral Home, 406 H St.
He had lived in Lincoln for the past 19 years and was a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, after 23 years of service.
He was a member of a Masonic Lodge in Omaha, Neb., and the Lincoln United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Rasmussen of Lincoln; two sons, Norman Rasmussen of Nevada City and Brian Rasmussen of Kansas City, Mo.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels P. Rasmussen of West Bend, Iowa; two sisters, June [Juen] Anderson of Belmond, Iowa and Donna Vitt-ner [Buettner] of Iowa; and three brothers, John Rasmussen of Boise, Idaho and William Rasmussen and Glenn Rasmussen, both of West Bend, Iowa.
