Rosalie Vernon, 88, a resident of Friendship Manor, Rock Island, formerly of Alexis, died Sunday at home.
Services are 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Mausoleum in Aledo Cemetery.
There is no visitation.
Hoover Chapel, Alexis, is in charge of arrangements.
The former Rosalie Niesen was born Sept. 4, 1901, in Racine, Wis. She married James Clark Vernon in California. He died in June 1977.
She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Alexis.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
