CSELOVSZKI, Andras (Andy)
Of Citrus Heights, passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his three daughters, Katie Cselovszki of Portland, Oregon, Jenni (David) Seibel of Antigo, Wisconsin, and Annie Cselovszki of Citrus Heights; and one granddaughter, Audrey.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy, his parents Pal and Katalin; and his brother Pal.

He was born in Kondoros, Hungary, on August 1, 1934. Andy immigrated to the United States in 1956 during the Russian invasion of Hungary.

He was one of the first Freedom Fighters to be sponsored by the Lutheran Church in California. Victor and Ruby Strauch and their children welcomed him into the family and helped him adjust to life in America. He was like a brother to Fred Strauch, Don Strauch, Dick (Elvis) Strauch, Tim (Susan) Strauch and Laurel (Lester) Cole.

Andy was a devoted member of Advent Lutheran Church, where he met his wife. They were married there on August 20, 1965.

He worked as a carpenter for over 30 years and, even after retirement, enjoyed fixing and building things.

His daughters wish to express their deepest thanks to the Strauch family, the congregation of Advent Lutheran Church, and the many friends who supported their father through his illness. Andy's indomitable spirit and will to live each day to the fullest will continue to be a source of inspiration to all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Nov. 20th at 1:00 pm at Advent Lutheran Church, 5901 San Juan Ave., Citrus Heights. A reception will follow the services. Interment will be on Tuesday, Nov. 21st at 2:00 pm at Sylvan Cemetery.
