FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. IDA KLINE OF RED BIRD
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Verdel Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Ida Kline of Red Bird, the last rites being conducted by Rev. R. D. Ibach of the Lynch Methodist church. The Verdel choir furnished the music. Burial was in the Verdel cemetery beside her husband who passed away 27 years ago.
Ida E. Kline was born June 5, 1871 in Wisconsin and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Stanton at Red Bird, Nebr., April 27, 1940 at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 22 days. She was the daughter of Wm. Ewer and Emilie Small and was married to James Kline in 1892. Two children were born to this union, a daughter and a son, the latter dying in infancy. Her husband died in 1913. She has made her home with her daughter and son-in-law for 27 years.
She leaves to mourn, her daughter, Mrs. Emma Stanton; two brothers, Albert and Henry Ewer of Cedar Rapids, Nebr.; a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Crawford of Petersburg, Nebr.; and some other relatives.
She was a kind and loving mother and a patient sufferer in her last hours.
