Ada was born on Trace fork of 12 pole creek in Wayne County West Virginia. Wife of Mitchell A. Stewart married 20 December 1880 in Wayne County West Virginia on Trace Fork of 12 Pole Creek in Wayne County West Virginia by Rev. Leander Osburn. She was the daughter of Edmund Jay Ferguson and Mary Jane "Polly"(Trout) Ferguson. Mary Trouts father owned the property where the present Wayne Courthouse sits now. (Abraham Trout)
