Bonnie Bernadine was born on May 5, 1931 in Crawford County, Missouri to William and Anna A. (Payne) Ray. She grew up and lived her entire life in this area. On August 8, 1951, Bonnie was united in marriage to Frederick West and three children were born to their union, Tommy, Bonnie and Linda. Bonnie was employed first by Paramount Cap in Bourbon for 10 to 12 years and lastly by Meramec Industries for 12 to 15 years. She was a hard worker and very independent. In her free time, Bonnie enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers and canning. She was a quiet person who enjoyed her home and family.
Bonnie is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Bacon and husband, Ron of Cuba, Mo, and Linda Mincemeyer and husband, Wayne of Sullivan, MO; five grandchildren: Lauren Bacon and husband Blake of Key Colony, FL, Kristen Breese and husband Eli of Owensville, MO, Kara Caltry of Sullivan, MO, Sara Shaw and husband Matt of Union, MO, and Taylor Whitney and husband Steven of Sullivan, MO; four great-grandchildren: Avalon, Nolan, Parker and Hazel; three sisters, Patsy Jane Vanhoose, Hazel Jannette Coffman and Mary Ann Binsbacker; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick West; her son, Tommy West; and her parents, William and Anna Ray; 9 siblings, Sherman Lee, Edna Isolene, Faye Beatrice, Lucy Bernice, Clark Stanley, Charlette Elizabeth, James Lindburg, Raymond William, Junior Teddy.
Cremation arrangements have taken place. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, August 2, 2021 in I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan.
