The former Anna Johnson was born Jan. 18, 1890, in Rio Township and had lived in Wataga 16 years. She first married William A. Rose in 1909. He died in December 1931. Her second marriage was Oct. 14, 1940, at Kahoka, Mo., to Ralph G. Ash, who survives with three sons, William R. Rose of Davenport, C.A. Rose of Wataga and Fred M. Rose of Galesburg; a daughter, Mrs. Violet L. Miller of Wataga; two brothers, Lum W. Johnson of Wataga and Reuben H. Johnson of Galesburg; two sisters, Mrs. Mary McCusker of Baldwin Park, Kan., and Mrs. Fanny Hatton of New London, Iowa; 15 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Ralph G. Ash, 77, of Wataga, who died Saturday at Gallup, N.M., were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Henderson. Herbert Willer Jr., pastor of the Henderson Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiated.
