Born March 19, 1935 in Logansport, he was the son to the late Samuel Phillip and Mildred (Cart) Bowman.
Ronald retired from General Tire Company/Trellborg and was also a farmer. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the V.F.W. Post #3790.
Surviving are four brothers, Herbert D. (Mary Ann) Bowman, New Waverly, IN; William (Jan) Bowman, Logansport; Gerald Bowman, Peru, IN; Richard (Sondra) Bowman, Logansport; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers, Marion, Truman, Hubert "Huey", Raymond, Larry, Victor, John; and one sister, Janice Holmes.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday July 10, 2021 in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7pm Friday July 9, 2021 and from 11:00 am until time of service on Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
