Elizabeth Cordelia Hamrick is the first child of Henry Hamrick and Elizabeth Cordelia Bowen, born 14 February 1795, Prince William County, Virginia. She passed away 13 March 1868. Briefly, after the death of Henry Hamrick, Elizabeth Hamrick Brooks joined her siblings Nathan Hamrick, Jane Hamrick to sign off on land the father wanted their brother James Hamrick to have (Court Minutes). She pinned her family vital information possibly from an old bible. Apparently, one of her daughters continued adding information after Elizabeth's death in 1868. The remnant was found in descendants' treasure chest in Texas.

Her brother James Hamrick was appointed to the committee executors for the lawsuit of heirs of her father in law, William Brooks estate (Cleveland County Estates, page 293)
