Nathan never married with the aid of his sister Jane, they were the guardians of their father Thomas Henry Hamrick. Shortly after the death of his father, he joined with his sisters, Elizabeth Brooks (Aaron Brooks), Jane to prove a deed of their father wished of a section of land to be deeded to their brother James (Cleveland County Court Records). There are indications that Nathan had land in Tennessee, near what I suspect is the family of a possible brother of the father. Any investigation into the Hamrick is more than a challenge. The Hamricks name after each other. Some with the same name had approximately the same age. Heightened by the intermarriage with Dodson, Foster, Ferguson, Smith, Johnson, Greene it very difficult to separate who is who. Some claim Henry Hamrick is Jeremiah, others claim Moses, but he seems closely associated with Patrick children.
