He is survived by his wife, Jana Rose (Rice) Carlton of the home; his son, John Carlton and wife, Debbie of Ozone, Arkansas; his daughters, Janine Arbaugh and husband, Jerry of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Shawn Ragsdale and husband, Dennis of Ozone, Arkansas; Amanda Edgmon and husband, James of Batson, Arkansas; Marcia Mize and husband, Michael of Clarksville, Arkansas; his brothers, Lowell Carlton of Ozone, Arkansas and Benny Carlton of Clarksville, Arkansas; his 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Ozone Cemetery in Ozone, Arkansas with Brother Mike Sawyer officiating. Pallbearers are William Kendrick, Hayden Carlton, Danny Kendrick, Tom Bushdiecker, Steve Melson, Gary Wilson, Steve Stewart, Sonny Carlton, and Paul Carlton. Honorary Pallbearers are James E. Edgmon, Carl Robinson, and Larry Caldwell.
