Gatha Kabase Brand, 91, of Rockledge, FL, passed away peacefully at Orchid Cove Nursing Home August 2, 2021. Gatha will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Newell; daughter Rosemarie Pendelton; sons Stephen John, Frederick Louis; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by sisters Victoria Wallace, Helen Thrasher, Lovie Salvagio, and brother Marine Sargent Major Murray Kabase. Gatha was born in Birmingham, Alabama and was a life long member of Saint Elias Maronite Catholic Church of Birmingham. Gatha moved to Florida in the mid 1960's where she was secretary at Brand Transfer and Storage Company in 1971. Retiring in 2020, Gatha was past President of the Rockledge Garden Club and club member for some 40 years. Gatha will long be remembered for her devotion to her family. She was a truly great mother and devoted wife.
