She came to Warren County as a young girl and lived most of her life in the Marshfield community. She was an assembler at Radio Materials Corp. in Attica for 20 years and was previously employed at Guthmans in Attica. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in West Lebanon. She loved to piece quilts and crochet.
Surviving, are: three daughters, Martha (Ralph) Byers, Williamsport; Betty Hanover, Webb City, Mo.; Peggy , (Fred) Hobson, Route 2, Williamsport; a son, Danny (Billi) Murphy, rural Crawfordsville; a sister, Reatha (Joe) Miller, West Lebanon; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in Fisher Funeral Home, West Lebanon, with the Rev. Pat Kuhs officiating. Burial was in West Lebanon Cemetery. Those so desiring may contribute in memorium to the West Lebanon Presbyterian Church" – Fountain County Neighbor, February 17, 1998
