Mrs. Peter Thede, 97, of Dixon, Iowa died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday in the DeWitt Hospital after a three-week illness. The former Mary Petersen was born in Canton, Ill. Mr. Thede died in 1933.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Amanda Witte, of Calamus, and Mrs. Hilda Engel, of Dixon, five grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. in Hope Lutheran Church, Dixon. Burial will be in the Dixon Cemetery. Friends may call at the Halligan Funeral Home, Davenport, until 11 a.m. today.
