Musician. One of the original band members of Bill Haley & His Comets between 1954 and 1955. He played tenor sax on some of their biggest hits, including: "Rock Around the Clock" and "Shake, Rattle and Roll" for example. In late 1955, he joined up with another group called "The Jodimars" and stayed with them until 1959 before going to Caesars Palace for the next 27 years. In 1987, he got back together with former bandmates Johnny Grande, Franny Beecher, Dick Richards and Marshall Lytle to form "Bill Haley's Original Comets". In 2012, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Comets.
