Deaths. LENTZ. -- On the afternoon of 19th of July, at 4.15 o'clock, after a short illness, CHRISTIAN, in the 80th year of his age, beloved husband of Catherine Lentz.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral, from his late residence, Baltimore street extended, west of Garrison lane, to-morrow (Friday) afternoon, at four o'clk.

Funeral. -- Mr. Christian Lentz, who died in his 80th year on Wednesday at his home on extended Baltimore Street, was laid to rest yesterday in Western Cemetery. Mr. Pastor Pister gave a funeral sermon at the home in the presence of the relatives and many friends of the deceased, whereupon the magnificent coffin containing the earthly remains of the deceased, according to a wish made during Mr. Lentz's lifetime, according to the old German custom, was carried to the cemetery by Messrs. Carl Lindemann, C. Kraus, C. M. Herr, Carl Neumann, H. Sykes, Georg Reinhold and Louis Kaufmann, where Pastor Pister spoke comforting worths to the bereaved from a document written by the deceased 8 years ago, in which he described the manner in which he had lived. Mr. Lentz was born in Oberndorf, Prussia, but has been in America since 1840, and leaves a widow and 10 children. His death was due to old age.
