George Knoedl, 75, died Nov. 13, 1992. He was a native of Garfield, NJ and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for four years, coming from Patchogue, Long Island, NY.
Prior to retirement, he was the president of George`s Radio and Television, Inc. in Patchogue, Long Island for 54 years. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II, was a member of American Legion Post #269, Patchogue,
Long Island, NY, member of Patchogue Lion`s Club and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #725, Patchogue, Long Island, NY.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Knoedl of Port St. Lucie; three sons, George Knoedl Jr. of Milford, NJ, Raymond Knoedl and Barry Knoedl both of Patchogue, Long Island, NY; one brother, Frank Knoedl of Fitzgerald, GA; two sisters, Daisy Nestoroff of Petersburg, VA and Josephine Promin of Richmond, VA; eight grandchildren.
