Arlene Lisonbee Taylor
7/27/1930~12/20/2006

Arlene Lisonbee Taylor peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father, surrounded by her four children after a battle with liver disease. She was born to Roy and Bernice Mable Lisonbee in Roosevelt, Utah. Arlene married Neldon J. Taylor on October 9, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they were blessed with one son, Ronald and four daughters Shirley (Daniel) Rednour, Pamela (Robert) Cash, Marilyn and Sandra (Jerry) Dennies. Their family home was in Magna, Utah. They enjoyed camping as a family and went to many family reunions. She worked for many years as a nurse's aid and for 20 years she worked at Beehive Clothing. Neldon passed away in July 1980. Arlene found friendship with Earl Brierley. They enjoyed fishing trips and companionship together for fourteen years. Once retired, she volunteered as a Salt Lake Temple worker. She loved working in her yard and keeping it beautiful. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles and shared family home evenings with a special group of ladies. She had a deep love for her family. We will miss our summer, fall and Christmas gatherings at her home. Arlene was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since June her health has declined and her family has been forever grateful to live close by and lovingly serve her. We love her dearly. She will be missed. She is survived by her four sisters, three brothers, one son, three daughters, 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Dec. 26, at 1:00 at the Spencer 6th Ward, 8181 W. Breeze Dr. (3320 S.) A Viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Rocky Mountain Hospice for assisting them in caring for mom.
