Mary Klunk, 92, formerly of 1214 N. 11th St., died on Wednesday, March 17, 1993 at Morningside Nursing Home, where she had been a resident the past three years.
Mary was born Aug. 29, 1900 in Urbach, Russia, a daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothea (Pfister) Goldmann. She came with her family to Sheboygan at the age of eight. She attended Trinity Lutheran School.
On Nov. 29, 1919, she and Gottlieb Klunk were united in marriage by the Rev. CP. Schulz at Trinity Lutheran Church. Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Audrey (Victor) Keitel, Sheboygan; Arline (Thomas) Justin, Whitefish Bay; one son, Richard (Lois) Klunk, Sheboygan; nine grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Emelie Rieck, Brookings, S.D. S
he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services for Mary will be held, 11 a.m., Saturday, March 20, at the Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home, Southside Chapel. The Rev. Galan Walther, associate pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 1535 S. 12th St. on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
