Rites to Honor Historian, Ex DUP Chief

Funeral services for Mrs. Flora B. Home. 1216 Lake St., will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Princeton Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, by Hendrik Poelman, bishop.
Mrs. Horne, 1216 Lake St, past president of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and retired treasurer and librarian of the Utah Historical Society, died Wednesday, after collapsing on the steps of the D U P Memorial BIdg., 300 N. Main.
Friends may call call at 260 E. South Temple Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m until noon.
Burial will be in Salt Lake City Cemetery.
Mrs. Home is survived by two sons, C. L. Horne, Salt Lake City, and Evan Lee Horne, Los Angeles; two daughters. Mrs, Leola Flesher, Murray, and Mrs. Flora H. Carpenter, Salt Lake City; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bert Bean, Van Nuys, Cal., and a sister, Mrs. Emily Bell, Richfield.
