Alexander Crews is said to have died March 1850 according to the 1850 Wayne County, GA Mortality Schedule. The homestead that Alexander and Lucy lived on change from Camden County to Wayne County then to Charlton County. Both are said to be buried in a family plot on the old "Crews homestead" place near Winokur, Charlton County, GA.∼Alexander Crews was born in Charleston Dist in 1770 to John Crews and Nancy Collins. Alexander married Lucy Dubois (1785-1848) and had 13 children. He passed away on Mar 1845 in Winokur, Georgia, USA.
