Bernard Eugene (B. E.) Osborn was born April 25, 1905 in Bolivar, Hardeman County, Tennessee to Charley Amos Osborn and Betty Sanders. (He was raised by Rebecca Ellen Hodson Osborn, his step mother, after his mother died in 1909.)
Bernard was pronounced like "Ber-nerd". My grandfather (the infant in the photo & B. E.'s half-brother), C. A. Osborn, always called him "Ber-nerd" or B. E.
B. E. lived in Home Gardens, California with his family. He died at a Riverside Hospital in Riverside, California. Services were held at Home Gardens Assembly of God Church. Interment was at Sunnyslope Cemetery in Corona, California.
