Frances Durkee Kerr, 96, of Chesnee passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her residence. Frances was born on May 20, 1925 to the late Frank and Jesse Scott Durkee in Pontiac Michigan. She was the widow of Harvey R. Kerr, a homemaker and member of Chesnee United Methodist Church. Frances was a graduate of Michigan State University and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Soriety. She was formerly active with the Girl Scouts, loved the outdoors and was an avid traveler.

Left to cherish her memory are four daughters, Valery Vetter (Joseph), Charlene Dominguez (Pablo), Roberta Face (David) and Anita Tewilliager (Douglas); five grandchildren, Brooke McManus (Kyle Walivaara), Dr. Ashley Tewilliager, Kyle Face, Zachary Vetter and Dr.Tyler Tewilliager; nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister Edwinna Mayer and her husband Wallace.

A funeral service will be held at Coats Funeral Home in Waterford Michigan at a later date with the interment to follow at Ottawa Park Cemetery.
