The body of old gentleman Burnside was fished up in the net of Mr. Nat
Jones, Hathorne & Co, No 25 night before last. Mr. Jones towed the body
ashore near the Eagle cannery. The suddenness of his death from
accidental drowning on the 5th are so well known the coroner did not
consider an inquest necessary.
Was a framer in Cathalamette Bay, Oregon. Wife was Mary, son: DW Burnside
