1950-2021 The family of Jacques (Jack) sadly announces his passing. Dear brother to Guy Demers (Lois), Céline Taylor (Mark) and Gilles Demers (Karen). He was a cherished uncle and great-uncle to many nephews and nieces and will also be missed by many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Jeannine Demers and his sister-in-law Gisèle (Therrien). Jack worked many years at Wabasso Cotton Mill in Welland until its closure in the mid 80's and was a long-time valued employee (30 years) until retirement at Orlando Lumber in Welland. In accordance with Jacques' wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The March of Dimes of Canada or a charity of your choice in his name would be greatly appreciated by the family.
