Mr. Gene "Jack" Chambers, age 84, of Murrayville passed away, at home, Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Jack was known for making the best boiled peanuts around.
Jack was born on January 6, 1937, to the late John and Fannie Chambers of Murrayville. He is preceded in death by his wife Bertha Grizzle Chambers who passed nine years to the day of his passing. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Homer and Ralph Chambers.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Corinth Baptist Church in Suches, Georgia.
