Harry served in the U.S. Army as Private First Class and was wounded in Germany. He died as a result of his injuries from a vehicle accident in Germany. Harry was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge, The Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation and a Medal for Rifle Expert.
