Death.
We desire, on behalf of our readers, to extend sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Percy Madigan over the death of their youngest son, aged 13 months, which took place on Tuesday last. The little one had been in a weak state from its birth, but was tenderly nursed by the affectionate mother under the directions of Drs. Browne and Clouston, the utmost being done to overcome the natural weakness. The process of teething
aggravated the little one's condition, and the parents had made up their minds to consult a specialist in Sydney over the case, but before necessary strength to withstand the journey could be imparted death intervened. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place on Wednesday afternoon, the interment being in the Roman Catholic portion of the new cemetery, Rev. Father Sharkey conducting obsequies at the graveside, and Mr. Elphick was the undertaker.
