Mrs. Anne Johnson Skiles, 59, of 921 Davis Road, Cedartown, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2007. Mrs. Skiles was born in Rockmart on Aug. 23, 1948, daughter of the late Bruce Johnson and the late Glenda Hardin McKee. She was a State of Georgia employee and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two sons, Houston Franklin Roberson, III, of Warner Robins and Matthew Pruitt of Cedartown; a daughter, Meghan Pruitt also of Cedartown; a brother, Jimmy Johnson of Kennesaw; a sister, Melinda Ferguson of Rockmart; three nephews, Joshua Johnson, Zachary Barnes and Daniel Ferguson; one niece; and one great-nephew. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Arp and Rev. Danny Rhodes officiating. Interment followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The following gentlemen were asked to serve as pallbearers: Danny Ferguson, Daniel Ferguson, Joshua Johnson, Wes Bryant, Bobby Jackson, John Geldreich, Jason Keene and David Frazier. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
