Lester Dozier Jr, 77 passed away at his home in Georgetown, KY on October 6, 2021. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam war. He was born July 27, 1944, in Arjay, KY to the late Perna and Lester Dozier.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Hubert, Donald, Zora, and Clifford; sisters Christine Martin and Marie Mills; son-in-law Tommy Magers.

He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Nancy Dozier; children, Donna Magers and Jeanette Laws; grandchildren, Luke Magers and Sarah Magers; honorary granddaughter Rileigh Smith; sisters Faye Lawson, Ruth Smith and Wanda Kinsler; brothers Jewel, Kenneth and Joe; many truly special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Laws who will also provide music; burial will follow in Farley Cemetery with full military honors being presented.

The family will receive friends after 1PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021, until the funeral hour at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dozier family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
