Kenneth Elzo Dozier, 75 of Pineville and lifelong resident of Bell County went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Pineville Community Hospital while surrounded by his family. Kenneth was born on July 13, 1947, in Arjay, a son of Lester and Perna Lyons Dozier.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Christine Martin and Marie Mills; brothers, Zora Dozier, Hubert Dozier, Donald Dozier, Lester Dozier, and Clifford Dozier; and twin brother, Keith Dozier.
Kenneth is survived by his loving niece and care takers, Tish and Johnny Bishop, who always made sure he was happy; sisters, Faye Lawson, Ruth Smith, and Wanda Kinsler; brothers, Joe Dozier and Jewell Dozier; special sister-in-law, Judy Dozier; his fur babies that he dearly loved, Sissy and Buddy; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Wagner presiding. Music will be provided by Julie Wagner. Burial will follow at the Red Hill Cemetery in Arjay. Pallbearers will be Dawson Dozier, Shawn Dozier, Shane Dozier, Justin Dozier, Johnny Bishop, Perna Warren, Tish Bishop, and Curtis Smith.
