Patricia McGovern Burt passed away October 6, 2021. Pat was the daughter of Elizabeth and Bernard McGovern, now deceased. She was preceded in death by her husband Laurence C. Burt, Jr. and daughter Mary P. Stoudt (nee Burt). She is survived by her sister Joan McGovern, sons Laurence(Renee), Bernard(Kerri), Christopher(Lynne) and grandchildren Gabrielle, Taylor, Conner, Blair and Christopher.
Pat grew up in Livingston, NJ and attended Caldwell College on a four-year academic scholarship, graduating first in her class with a degree in Chemistry. Pat worked for many years at the Reading Hospital in the Chemistry department. She volunteered for many years at Manor Care. Pat loved her garden, animals, the Phillies, Long Beach Island, her family and friends. She will be missed by many.
Funeral Procession will depart Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Friday, October 15, 2021 at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church Kerrick & Mitti Roads, Shillington at 10:00 am. Reverend Edward J. Essig, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
