Services for Rose Ella Gaspard, of Moreauville will be a 11 a.m. Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Bayou Des Glaises Baptist Church, Rexmere with Rev. Mickey Bounds and Rev. Paul Farrent officiating. Burial will be in Bayou Des Glaises Cemetery under the direction of Escude Funeral Home, Mansura.
Rose Ella Gaspard, age 87, died in Avoyelles Hospital December 7, 2007.
She was preceded in death by son, Joseph Jerry "D.C. Gaspard, brother, Wilbert Bordelon, sister, Margarie Armand, father, Clifton Bordelon, mother, Matilda Bordelon.
Survivors include husband, Rev. Eugene Gaspard of Moreauville; three sons, James "Punk" Gaspard of Bordelonville, Harvey Gaspard of Zachary, adopted son, Willard Gaspard of Gulfport, Mississippi; 2 brothers, Noba Bordelon of Bordelonville, Garrett Bordelon of Baton Rouge, and one sister, Beverly Armand of Bordelonville; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grand children.
Visitation will be at Bayou Des Glaises Baptist Church, Rexmere from 5 p.m. to all night and re-open the following day.
