David Derr, age 44 of Browns Mills, NJ and formerly of Berwick, PA, passed away Wednesday evening, June 20, 2007 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
Born April 15, 1963, he is the son of Fred Derr and the late Margery (Seltzer) Youlls.
Mr. Derr was employed for eighteen years in the Albert C. Wagner Youth Corrections Facility in New Jersey, from where he retired.
Surviving are his wife, Susan (nee Dowd); sons,
David and Neil, both of Tuckerton, NJ; a daughter, Isabel Derr of Browns Mills; sisters, Cindy Becker of Berwick, PA, Patty Grosz of Wapwallopen, PA, Susan Heller of Mountaintop, PA; a brother, Ralph Derr-Crouse of Berwick, PA. Preceded along with his mother are step-father, Dale Youlls and nephews, Joshua and Adam Grosz.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, June 23rd at KELCHNER-McMICHAEL FUNERAL HOME, INC. in Berwick. He was buried at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery, Dorrance, PA.
