According to Dan Scott: She was drowned on 1-24-1935, along with her traveling companion Miss Edna B. Gentle, in the sinking of the passenger liner S.S. Mohawk. The Mohawk was struck by another ship and sank off the New Jersey coast with the deaths of 45 passengers and crew.
